Goodman values its relationships with dealers, and strives to provide useful, effective tools to enhance their work. The existing PartnerLink, a tool used by dealers, was not being used due to its lack of organization. We needed to revamp PartnerLink for dealers to be able to access product support, marketing materials, and technical training. Using our creative and technical services, we were able to make dealers' jobs easier by giving them convenient, user-friendly information-access.
A corporate-group in an Oil & Gas enterprise identified a broad issue across the organization: employees' own biases and behaviors were leading to bad investment decisions. In an effort to align an organization, we needed to think strategically and creatively about a campaign to rally employees around a 2-year business plan. Working with the group's communications team, we created thoughtful, inspiring messaging for a presentation. We considered our audience who would be presenting, but also the recipients of the presentation, to make sure the messaging would be consistent and motivational for the vision.
The Denison survey is a well-respected culture survey, and one group recognized the importance of informing their employees about the results in a productive way. We created a video and PowerPoint that explained the results, communicated that they heard their employees, and also spoke to what the group was doing to improve. These communications became foundational in benchmarking culture and therefore something to revisit to understand progress.
Using Softway's experience, we conceived of a two-day leadership training experience for our client who was in need of changing leadership behaviors to improve the culture and pervasive distrust. We covered theory, personal experiences, and activities to allow introspection and sharing. Leaders were asked to personally commit to things they would change. We hosted 12 sessions worldwide and received many expressions of gratitude and testimonials.
A cyber security group needed to educate a global audience on the importance of staying vigilant about cyber threats. We created a yearly episode showing what employees could do to protect the company from daily threats such as spoofing, social media, and phishing emails with well-loved characters and humor. With this latest project, we created a weekly series demonstrating a more severe and devastating threat while still keeping things fun and engaging.
Valaris wanted to continue promoting safety within the newly merged company by completely retooling its rig induction process and bringing a more human voice to safety communications . Working with the new brand, we created two videos for the Health, Safety & Environment group.
Moving on from one large initiative, an IT organization of 10,000+ employees needed a creative approach to housing all of its content and communications around its culture movement, strategy, and learning initiatives. In updating this hub, we were able to increase efficiency by using existing code from the prior initiative, while making necessary updates to match the website goals.
IT organizations need to be able to adopt and implement new technologies as they come up. Project managers, technical architects, and developers within an IT group needed to understand possibilities of new and existing infrastructure and core technology services. We provided this in the form of an informational website, with the option to use a wizard to guide users through the platforms they would need. All of this included best practices for setting up project architectures in their ever-changing technical landscape.
When a local Houston dentist approached us for mobile app development, we were thrilled to work on such a creative and technically-focused project. Five Star Dentists was looking to create an educational app that could entertain and delight children coming to the dentist office to reduce fear and anxiety but also show the "why" behind going to the dentist. Goodman Manufacturing, the world's largest manufacturer of HVAC systems, wanted to improve the contractor’s experience serving consumers by adding new capabilities within the Dealer First mobile application. In this very technical project, we partnered to develop an app and website that guides contractors and dealers through the questions they need to ask and the information they need to gather. Alonti Catering, a business catering company in Houston, hosted a website that was intended for their customers to create catering orders. However, the website was not user friendly, and it used technology that Alonti was not comfortable with configuring. Daikin's family of brands is all united in their mission to bring innovation and value to indoor comfort products and services. Daikin needed to bring together its various career portals. They have many job openings, and they wanted to be able to house these opportunities in one place, thereby helping recruiters and job seekers. Working with employees and recruiters, we established creative messaging, and carefully completed the technical implementation.
MedAire, an International SOS company, believed that their website did not accurately portray their work. This had an effect on sales opportunities and time taken to close new business. In 2014, two groups of the Oil & Gas Producers agreed that there would be significant benefits in combining the two separate database activities, to enable a single-focused and aligned database system to be developed that would provide insight on equipment performance. Softway built a database-driven web portal that collected data and ran reports on the performance and reliability of equipment defined by the participants of the IOGP/IADC BOP Reliability Joint Industry Project (JIP).
