Softway wins Website of the Year for Goodman work Softway

We love Goodman. We love Sitefinity. We love awards.


We’re proud to share that Softway was awarded the 2016 Progress® Sitefinity™ Website of the Year Award for the Goodman Manufacturing website. This project was a seven month long effort, bringing together every single team in Softway to deliver a final product that met client needs and our own personal standards of quality. (We’re kind of perfectionists. This is a tall order.)

So how did we get here? It all started with our client. Goodman looked to Softway to consolidate a number of their sites under one CMS to streamline content management. The first step: building a knock-out site for Goodman, one of their best-known brand names in the company portfolio.

We chose Sitefinity to build this site because it offered a number of great features we thought Goodman would love. The ability to click between sites (up to 10!) with a single tab, the ability to make global changes to product content with ease—it all made Sitefinity the perfect choice.

Couple all that tech goodness with Softway’s creative and strategic brains, and we were able to create the standout Goodman site of today. From its streamlined functionality to its clean, refreshing take on marketing heavy-duty appliances, Goodman now has the online presence it needs to truly stand out in the market. Progress Sitefinity noticed, too. They selected Softway and the Goodman site for the Website of the Year Award in manufacturing. Then, the public was also able to cast their ballot.

Our most important approval, of course, came directly from the client.

We’re excited to have a shiny new award in our digital trophy case, but not as excited as we are about the business impact this site has already had on Goodman. Today, the updated site serves over 300K visitors a month—with a 50% increase in mobile traffic.
